The Chinese lessons include math, vocabulary, Chinese characters, songs, matching, movement, cooking and more! Each video contains 4-6 mini lessons based on a week-long theme.
Virtual Chinese School Term 1 gives you a starting point of 24 videos. Each video contains multiple entertaining lessons to help your child practice their Mandarin, usually totaling 30-40 minutes per video. For example, one video class may have singing time, story time, an art lesson, math practice and Chinese character review. Keep in mind all the lessons of each video are taught in Mandarin Chinese. This is an immersion experience for your child! They are not expected to understand everything right away, but because Suzy Laoshi uses expressions, visuals, songs and games, the children understand lessons through comprehensible input.
