About Me
Hi, I'm Suzy Williams!
Thank you so much for connecting with me in this big beautiful world! I am honestly so stinkin’ excited you are here! Sometimes being a stay-at-home mom is isolating, but I am so passionate about the incredible things moms all over the world are doing for their children. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey.
I have four incredible children – Madi, Quincy, Abe and Kennedy (8, 5, 3, 1). They keep me plenty busy, but also plenty motivated and excited about the future. I am doing my best to teach them and my preschool students Chinese (and to be good human beings).
I love learning and I’m hoping to instill that same love within my little ones. I’m here because I’m NOT perfect, but I believe in Progress Over Perfection and ANY effort being better than no effort. I hope to share all my efforts, resources, successes and failures that have allowed me to teach my children and many students to love Chinese and love learning!

What Qualifications Do I Have?
I graduated from BYU with a dual bachelors degree in both Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education, with a minor in ELL. I taught 4th grade for 4 years, three of which where spent teaching Chinese immersion and this is my fourth year in a preschool classroom, three of which are in my in-home preschool: Xiao Panda Preschool.
- BS in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education
- OPI Mandarin Chinese - Level Advanced High
- 8+ Years of Various Classroom Experiences
- A Passion Beyond Expression -- I really stinkin' love this job (Being mom and being a Chinese Preschool Teacher is everything I love in life!)
How Did I Learn Chinese?
I was a student at Brigham Young University when I took leave to serve an 18-month religious mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Taipei, Taiwan. I immediately fell in love with Taiwan, the people and the language. This made me study hard and practice as much as I could while living there. When I returned home, I took a couple of extra Chinese classes and still try to study and improve my Chinese as much as I can!
